Very much like what you've done with this image, Tom. Is this along Portage Creek? If so, it is likely Vickers Mill that was built in 1831.

Hey--no fair! How do you know more about Kalamazoo County than I do? No, Vickers (founder of the Village of Vicksburg) Mill is long long gone although Sunset Lake is still there. This photo is of Kings Mill along the Nottawa Creek in St. Joseph County. I was on M-60 West (not realizing that I was actually going Southwest through Leonidas)and turned right onto what I thought was Fulton Road. It was actually King Road and I was going West instead of North--and there it was.
